About us
Welcome to Stillorgan Podiatry Clinic. We are a clinic designed to provide an efficient and worthwhile solution that will keep you mobile, comfortable and doing the things you love to do. This is achieved through constant, continued education and a genuine passion for patient care.
Our ambition is to serve our community in a very professional manner in our modern, cheerful clinic. We aim to make it easy for our patients to get to us and to be dealt with efficiently, professionally and in a timely fashion. We aim to engage with our patients, to listen carefully to their problems and, with the correct treatment, help solve any pain or discomfort they are having. We truly believe in getting to know you as an individual and not just as a patient, involving you fully in your Podiatric treatment. We also deal with any routine chiropody/podiatry complaints such as, corns, calluses (hard skin), ingrown toenails, nail fungus, warts or verrucae and much more. On a daily basis we treat patients from the very young to the ‘not so young’!
Our team is headed by lead Podiatrist Mr. Oisin Kelly BSc (Hons).
The clinic is conveniently situated upstairs in Stillorgan Shopping Centre with 2 hours free parking, both at the centre and across the road in the overflow parking area.
To make it easy for our patients to book an appointment we have an integrated booking system which can be accessed by simply clicking on ‘Book’ above. If a patient prefers a more personal approach to booking an appointment simply call 01 5160044 and Linda will look after you.
Our team
Oisin Kelly — Podiatrist
I qualified from NUIG with an hons BSc in Podiatric Medicine. During my time there I gained an extraordinary amount of experience in many aspects of podiatry including, routine podiatry care, treatment and management of patients with diabetes, wound care, lower limb biomechanics, gait analysis, management and treatment of sports injuries, podopaediatrics and carrying out nail surgery. I have over 1000 hours clinical experience, most of which was gained at Merlin Park Podiatry clinic, a state of the art facility in Galway city. I’ve also completed external placements in private practices and hospitals including Tallaght University Hospital and University Hospital Galway.
I’m also a keen sportsman and have played rugby my whole life. My passion for sports is what led me to develop my interest in lower limb biomechanics in the first place and how it can affect our feet and overall movement.
Emer McGinty - Podiatrist
I qualified from University of Galway with a BSc Hons in Podiatric Medicine and am a member of the Society of Chiropodists and Podiatrists of Ireland.
I enjoy helping people become comfortable and pain free and am particularly passionate about podopaediatrics (children’s foot problems) and diabetic foot care. I recently spent time volunteering in Tanzania as a podiatrist in rural communities.
I am a Galway girl and enjoy travelling, yoga and sea swimming
Linda Lawlor — Administrator and Receptionist
I worked in retail for many years before moving into receptionist roles in health clinics and GP practices. I bring to the clinic a wealth of experience in administration of clinical practices.
As the first point of contact in the clinic, I like to ensure all our patients receive a welcoming and friendly first impression. I enjoy meeting the variety of people who attend the clinic and relish the fact that no two days are the same.
In my spare time, when not standing on side-lines cheering my sons' football teams, I like to read, knit and upcycle furniture.
Blanaid Farrell — owner
I’ve had the pleasure of working with the local community and its foot care needs for the past 10 years. During this time I’ve gained an abundance of experience dealing with complicated foot problems, pain, the needs of unstoppable athletes, workers who spend longs days on their feet and those recovering from injury. I can tell you that I’ve loved every minute of it. Opening Stillorgan Village’s first Podiatry Clinic (since closure of Cahill’s Podiatry Clinic some years ago) is such an honour, so we can serve even more of the community’s foot care needs. I like to stay busy and am looking forward to developing our vision in making the Podiatry Clinic as efficient and professional a practice as possible.
I am a keen sports woman playing tennis in our local tennis club. I played league for years but nowadays I just enjoy a weekly friendly with my pals. I also play golf, which is a labour of love and a work in progress, as most golfers will understand. Finally, I am an animal lover, particularly dogs and have never been without one in my family.
